The easiest way to create a new file in gedit, is to click the Create a new document button on the left side of the header bar, or press CtrlT.

Jebkura no šīm darbībām izveidos jaunu datni gedit logā. Ja jums gedit jau ir atvērtas citas datnes, jaunā datne parādīsies kā jauna cilne pa labi no jau esošajām.
